About The Event
Ever wanted to make your own drawing kit?
Come and join us for a creative day in the woods learning to make your own charcoal and wax crayons on the heat of the fire. There will be time to explore the wild environment, go on a colour foraging exploration and get creative in nature. You will get to know the whole processes of making charcoal from wood and crayons from pigments and wax. We will spend the afternoon drawing in nature and be guided in creative techniques that support creativity, play and relaxation.
All materials are included and you will leave with your own drawing kit.
This workshop is suitable for everyone who is curious to learn! Come back the following day, Wednesday 20th September to learn to make botanical ink - Wild Ink - Drawing in Nature with Botanical Ink (7thrise.co.uk).
‘This was more than just a drawing workshop. I have come away feeling refreshed and empowered with a deeper sense of the colours hidden in the natural world around me’ Participant.
