About the event

Explore the abundance of nature, see what is in the hedgerow, learn about the properties of different plants and use simple natural bundle dying techniques to make your own silk scarf or wall hanging to take home. We will use bundle dye techniques to make beautiful strong and lasting patterns and colours as well as starting to explore mordanting and other methods of dying.

The workshop includes half a meter of silk and a home cooked vegetarian lunch. £55/50 concession.

Run by Naomi Hannam- ‘I am artist, educator and nature based facilitator. My work centers around weaving connection between land, community and creativity. I work with the abundance of nature to celebrate beauty, play and curiosity through practical relationships with plants and fibre’.
