Come and explore the hidden dye plants of early summer alongside the colours that can be found from the scraps from 7th Rises kitchen. The workshop will allow time for a foraging walk by the river and time to explore.

About the event
Come and explore the hidden dye plants of Cornwall alongside the colours that can be found from the scraps from the kitchen. We will be learning under the oaks and by the river - lerning to make from whats around us -The workshop will be based in 7th Rise’s woodland studio. Explore non toxic mordant techniques, learn to extract colours from flowers, barks and leaves and leave with your very own shibori dyed piece of wool. We will go on a foraging walk to find colour and you will leave empowered to take your knowledge forward.
Run by Naomi Hannam – ‘I am artist, educator and nature based facilitator. My work centres around weaving connection between land, community and creativity.
