About the event
Wild Ink Workshop Series
Over four morning workshops we will learn to make a variety of different botanical inks using a range of methods. We will learn about the ancient process of making oak gall ink and the colours hidden in the natural world around us. We will make quills and mark making tools as well as having time in nature for mindful drawing, creative play and mark making. This course has designed to connect participants to their creativity, nature and build a learning community. The workshop will take place at Potager’s Greenhouse space and in the gardens. We will be working in a tranquil and beautiful natural environment and there will be time for foraging and exploration. The workshop is suitable for anyone who is curious to learn.
‘This was more than just a drawing workshop. I have come away feeling refreshed and empowered with a deeper sense of the colours hidden in the natural world around me’ Ink in Nature Participant 2020
