About the event

A day in the woods to learn to make your own oak gall ink, quills and have time to explore and get creative in nature. You will get to know the whole process of making oak gall in from foraging to making. we will carve quills around the fire and spend the afternoon drawing in nature and be guided in creative techniques that support creativity, play and relaxation. The day is £65 with all materials are included - you will leave with your own bottle of ink, quill and selection of drawings. This workshop is suitable for everyone who is curious to learn!

7th Rise is a beautiful outdoor venue on the banks of the river surrounded by woodland. It is an exceptionally beautiful spot and requires a hilly walk over on a rough track to reach  - the site is not wheelchair accessable please contact me if you have any access needs prior to booking. Please bring a pack lunch and warm clothes - directions will be sent out prior to the event

Run by Naomi Hannam – ‘I am artist, educator and nature based facilitator. My work centres around weaving connection between land, community and creativity. I work with the abundance of nature to celebrate beauty, play and creativity.’
