About the event

An introduction into botanical ink making and experimental mark making. Learn the ancient process of making oak gall ink and the colours hidden in the natural world around us. We will make our own bamboo quills and experiment with different mark making and drawing techniques using the ink we have made.  All materials and refreshments are included and you will leave with your own bottle of ink and booklet of drawings. This workshop is suitable for everyone who is curious to learn!

‘This was more than just a drawing workshop. I have come away feeling refreshed & empowered with a deeper sense of the colours hidden in the natural me’. Participant 2019
